Support sharing knowledge
Sharing knowledge and bringing people together are essential to accelerating
progress in eye health. Through events, partnerships and collaborative initiatives,
Moorfields Eye Charity is helping clinicians, researchers, patients and innovators
exchange ideas, inspire new ways of thinking and turn promising concepts into realworld impact.
Supporting innovation at Moorfields Hackday
Clinicians, healthcare workers
and patients from across the
country came together at
Moorfields Hackday, held in
September 2025 at Moorfields
Eye Hospital, to collaborate
on digital solutions to
healthcare challenges.
The event welcomed people
interested in apps, wearables,
digital tools and AI, with no
technical background required.
Organised with support
from Moorfields Eye Charity
through an innovation grant,
the Hackday formed part
of wider efforts to advance
digital innovation in patient
